Christian Recovery Centers offers a substance use program for men in Ash, North Carolina called Grant's Harbor. This was formerly known as Brunswick Christian Recovery Center. Here, clients can get medium to long-term residential addiction care for up to two years. Grant’s Harbor uses the 12 Steps of AA, Celebrate Recovery and faith-based recovery principles alongside professional therapy services.
Residential Recovery for Men in North Carolina
Grant’s Harbor offers a multi-phase program that helps men build upon skills until they can successfully transition back to society as sober and capable men. Residents have to meet certain criteria in order to progress to the next phase.
During your stay, you’ll engage in church services and community events. You’ll also attend group and individual therapy sessions. These activities are designed to help you develop your sense of personal responsibility.
I appreciate that Grant’s Harbor partners with Brunswick Community College to support residents to succeed when they re-enter society. They also have a work reentry program that gives men work-based learning opportunities, training and service projects. You’ll be paid for your work, which I think is a wonderful way to have a head start for independent living once you leave the center.
