In Hagerstown, Maryland Brook Lane Main Campus is a large mental health care system treating adults and children. Offering inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, and therapy, you can access all services at one location.

The InSTEP substance abuse treatment program has two levels of treatment: outpatient and intensive outpatient. An initial assessment will determine which level you’ll need. Level one is the outpatient level and is geared toward people who have co occurring disorders but their mental health symptoms are stable. Level two is the intensive outpatient program that meets three times per week from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Groups focus on managing cravings, relapse prevention, and life skills.

Some former clients said the staff was lovely and caring. Others said they didn’t like their experience with front desk staff and medication management.
