About Broadway Counseling Services Englewood
Since 1993, Broadway Counseling Services has been providing alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs for individuals based in a commercial district of Englewood and the Metro Denver area in Colorado. Support is available to adults. Treatment is licensed and certified by the State of Colorado Behavioral Health Administration.
Courses are offered here that’re designed to facilitate Colorado legislation that requires individuals convicted of alcohol or drug-related offenses to complete a state-approved recovery program. In doing so, the center’s goal is to deliver high-quality, affordable, and effective treatment.
All clients must go through an initial intake process, during which the team can gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and addictive behaviors. They do this by examining clients’ habits, behavioral patterns, physical and mental health, family life, social life, and if there are any underlying issues, denial, or resistance regarding their condition. Following this, they’ll be issued with a personalized treatment plan.
Addiction treatment methods offered here include weekly group counseling sessions, as well as individual counseling. These sessions are designed to help clients stabilize their lifestyle and habits, manage their cravings, and support their continuing needs, while helping them better understand and come to terms with the addiction itself. Various therapeutic styles are used here, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), moral reconation therapy (MRT), as well as relapse prevention strategies and a targeted anger management program. Addiction education is also provided.
For individuals with DUI/DWIs, classes and programs approved by the State of Colorado
Division of Motor Vehicles are provided. These are designed to help individuals shift their attitudes and behaviors to overcome their substance misuse and addiction, while teaching them life skills to support them in handling stressful or triggering situations and cravings.
