About Brightside Clinic and Suboxone Doctors of Peoria

Located in Peoria, Illinois, is a branch of Brightside Suboxone Clinics. They specialize in the treatment of heroin and pain medication addiction. Treatment plans are tailored to each client based on their addiction, lifestyle, and recovery goals. Those who struggle to make it to a clinic in person can access telehealth services, getting support for an opioid addiction wherever they are. Plus, thanks to their harm-reduction model, no client is refused services if they relapse. Instead, Brightside works with the client to discover why the relapse occurred and what treatment methods will get them back on the right track.

Unlike many medication-assisted treatment programs for opioid addictions, Brightside offers several medications, including Suboxone, Brixadi, Vivitrol, and Sublocade. These meds reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with opioid use disorder. Prescription medications are combined with counseling, which is known to be more effective than counseling alone. Additionally, clients with co-occurring mental health disorders, like anxiety and depression, receive psychiatry services to address the relationship between their mental health and addiction.

One of the great things about Brightside is its Inpatient Continuation Program, which helps clients who are in residential facilities to continue receiving medications for opioid addictions following discharge. Medication monitoring and maintenance continue as long as the client requires and when they’re ready to reduce the dose, counselors develop a program to taper off medication, comfortably.
