About Bridges of Hope
Located in Homerville, Georgia, Bridges of Hope is a drug and alcohol recovery center for men. It’s not a traditional treatment facility, and you won’t find medical, psychiatric, or counseling services there. Private health insurance does not pay for this program.
This program offers a rigorous schedule where residents sleep in dormitories to help them live and connect with others in close proximity. You also learn teamwork as you rise early and eat together. You’ll also attend Bible studies, daily devotionals, small group meetings, and AA or Narcotics Anonymous meetings together.
They have minimal staff, so guests are expected to clean, garden, and have other house responsibilities to keep everything running. Work assignments are given to create more self-esteem and teach accountability and discipline. You’ll have time to decide who your support system will be, where you’ll live, and how you'll support yourself before you leave the program. The goal is to give you a plan of care that is concrete to help ensure you continue with sobriety.
