About Bridges of Hope Chauncey
Situated in the rural area of Chauncey, Georgia, Bridges of Hope is a residential drug and alcohol rehab for men. It’s a unique program, in which you won’t get typical counseling and therapy like traditional centers offer. Instead, they utilize other recovery techniques and opportunities that involve daily morning devotions and 12 Step foundational meetings.
You also don’t have lush amenities like an around-the-clock staff. Rather, clients work on the premises or offsite by helping the community. This structure offers you a sense of purpose and belonging, which can lend to your recovery by giving you more accountability.
While living there, you’ll stay in a dormitory and learn how to coexist with others. This structure will help you learn teamwork, while you have a specific time to get up and begin your day, eat meals together, and work together. There are restrictions on phone times and visitation to help you gain discipline.
Aftercare is available to all guests, and before you leave the program, you’ll have a discharge plan that gives you the steps and assistance to help you stay sober. You may have a referral to transitional living, educational resources, and ongoing support meetings for continued sobriety.
