About Bridges of Hope Alamo
Bridges of Hope offers several residential recovery programs. One is located in Alamo Georgia. This 44 bed women's facility is located on 10 acres. Note that this is not a treatment center or drug rehab. Professional counseling or medical services are not available. Insurance companies will not pay for services.
Residents will participate in recovery activities during the day. This includes morning devotionals, AA/NA meetings, and small group meetings. At Bridges of Hope there is no staff for housekeeping. Residents perform daily chores. This may include vegetable gardening, repairs and cleaning. Bridges of Hope promotes self-sufficiency. Having residents take care of their space also reduces costs. Residents will live in dorm-style bedrooms with their peers. You’ll get up early, eat together and work together.
When you are getting ready to return to society, you'll have an exit interview. This interview helps you begin planning your life outside of Bridges of Hope. They'll help you find a halfway house, research education options and more. You'll leave this program with a solid plan for your future.
