About Bradley County Medical Center
Bradley County Medical Center is a community-based hospital situated in rural Warren, Arkansas. It’s close to Reeps Lake by the Lighthouse Church.
The staff accepts private insurance and participates in Medicaid and Medicare programs. I know people will appreciate that they treat everyone in the ER regardless of their ability to pay.
Special Features
The hospital doesn’t have a dedicated drug and mental health treatment unit; however, they do feature a 24/7 emergency room (ER), where individuals can be stabilized and started on treatment and then referred to an appropriate facility. The ER serves as an initial touchpoint for individuals in a mental health or drug related crisis.
Please note that clients arriving for emergency stabilization should go to the glass doors in the ER driveway. The main front door to the hospital is closed to the public.
For those in recovery after ER or inpatient care, the Swing Bed program might be of interest. Clients can have an extended stay to work on therapy or other medical monitoring before they’re ready to become more independent without supervision.
Rural Health Clinic
The hospital has a rural health clinic on the hospital campus that’s a three minute walk from the main hospital. The campus provides a variety of medical services, including behavioral health treatment.
Wound Care Clinic
Bradley County Medical Center has a dedicated wound care clinic, which I think will be helpful for many patients. Those with chronic health conditions and prolonged substance use disorders may have difficulty with wound healing for which the team can help.
