About Bowen Center Group Home

The Bowen Center began as a nonprofit community mental health center in northern Indiana back in 1961. Now, it has various locations dotted around the state providing accredited emotional health care, addiction treatment, and primary care services. Support is offered to clients of all ages, and many insurance plans are accepted, including Medicaid and Medicare. Sliding scale fees are also an option. This particular location in Plymouth is a transitional care facility.

The Purpose of Transitional Living in Marshall County

You have to be aged 18 or older to nab a spot at Bowen’s transitional living facilities. You must also be eligible for Medicaid and have a diagnosis for a mental or behavioral health condition.

I like how this facility exists to provide you with the skills and resources you need to support a lasting recovery and promote a more independent, healthy lifestyle.

Facilities & Services Included at Russell House

Russell House is a facility with 10 beds where you can expect individual private rooms, 24/7 onsite staff support, and medication evaluation and monitoring. I noticed you can benefit from individual and group skills training, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) sessions, case management and care coordination, crisis intervention, and stabilization services.
