About Bowen Health

The Bowen Center offers outpatient treatment for various medical and behavioral health issues, including substance use disorders and other addictive behaviors. They are known for treating teens and adults and are experienced in helping clients with a dual diagnosis i.e. struggling with addiction and another mental health disorder, like depression, at the same time.

Outpatient treatment plans are personalized to each client’s unique needs and may include a combination of individual therapy, group counseling, medication assisted treatment, family education and support and referrals to medical detoxification. The Bowen Center also has convenient telehealth appointments for clients who have trouble getting to the facility in person.

I really like that The Bowen Center also offers Skills Coaching Services that help clients meet their recovery goals and achieve independence. Skills classes include problem-solving, independent living skills, coping with trauma and stress, medication management, relationship building and communication skills.
