Preparation For Self Directed Recovery

The beginning of your treatment is referred to as Chapter 1, which is 28 days of integrated day treatment. You’ll stay in an apartment style facility and have access to expressive and holistic therapy options as well as traditional therapy.

Time to Practice Your Skills in Mount Joy

After completing the first chapter of treatment, you can choose to step down to Chapter 2 treatment, which is six to eight weeks of community and clinical care. The treatment is at the level of an intensive outpatient program, giving you plenty of free time. I feel this would give you a good chance to practice your skills in daily life.

You’ll live in a sober living residence and receive assistance with regaining your independence through education, vocational, and financial support. The staff will continue to provide you with therapy as well as continuing care planning.

Ongoing Care for Continued Recovery

In Chapter 3, which is the final phase of treatment, clients will establish treatment goals with their therapist to continue their journey of recovery outside of the program. Patients can still choose to attend weekly therapy sessions while living at home or in a sober residence.
