Bluegrass – Supported Apartment Living is a supportive housing program in Lexington, Kentucky helping clients live independently within the community.

The program offers structured support and daily living skills with medication management and access to community resources for those transitioning toward independent and sober living.

Bluegrass provides customized and community based support which I believe helps participants build the confidence and skills they need to maintain sobriety and thrive on their own.

Sober Supported Living in Lexington

The core of this program is supported apartment living giving participants the chance to reside in their own community apartments while receiving assistance tailored to their needs. Bluegrass staff work alongside residents to develop practical everyday skills.

We know life skills training is often necessary after addiction has corroded the addict's ability to perform daily responsibilities and prevents relapse which often occurs when a substance user feels overwhelmed.

Support may include help with budgeting and shopping, meal planning, transportation, and maintaining a clean and safe home. Services focus on strengthening the abilities each participant to live independently sober while staying connected to local resources.

Building Skills for Independent Living

Beyond housing, Bluegrass emphasizes long-term independence through skill development and community integration.

Staff offer ongoing guidance with medication management which is helpful for those who have developed addiction to prescription medications including painkillers and support is adjusted as the client's needs evolve.
