Bluebonnet Trails Community Mental Health–Gonzales is an outpatient psychiatric and behavioral health care facility for youth and adults specializing in crisis intervention, patient stabilization, general outpatient (OP) treatment, and home, school, and community based services. They also offer specialized programming for children, adolescents, young adults, seniors, LGBTQ+ persons, pregnant and postpartum women, military personnel and veterans, justice involved persons, and persons with co-occurring disorders.
Clients receive medical and mental health assessments, drug screenings, personalized care planning, and comprehensive case management. They also engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven modalities, including CBT. Clients also engage in robust, age specific, recovery focused life skills training addressing topics such as coping, self care, wellness, nutrition, anger and stress management, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention.
Their aftercare services ensure a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs and may include 12 step program facilitation, academic and vocational training, employment and housing assistance, and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs. They are CARF accredited and licensed by the state of Texas. Payment options include private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, financing, sliding scale payment schedules, financial aid, and self pay.
