About BHN Coles Place

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) offers behavioral health services for people of all ages. They are one of the largest behavioral health service providers in Western Massachusetts. Cole’s Place is a men’s residential addiction recovery center in Springfield, Massachusetts. It’s located in a quiet, leafy residential area of the city.

They accept adult males and non-binary individuals who are over 18 years old. Cole’s Place is open 24/7 and works to provide a safe and structured environment where recovery can happen.

They serve clients who are suffering from addiction and mental illness. It provides both medical and clinical stabilization and helps clients move towards their recovery goals.

Treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), anger management, trauma-related counseling, relapse prevention, and 12 Step facilitation. Residents will benefit from the peer support of the other residents. This will happen in facilitated group sessions as well as in informal bonding over meals and recreational activities. You might even have informal get-togethers at Gurdon Bill Park, located just next door. Armory Street Park and Armory are just a block away in opposite directions.

Each client will have a customized treatment plan that is designed to meet their specific needs. It will include case management services to remove barriers you might have that stand in the way of your recovery. A dedicated case manager can help you navigate the health and legal systems, find suitable housing after discharge and work towards vocational or educational training.

BHN also provides a 24/7 crisis line accessible by phone or walk-in. This service is available to all clients in crisis regardless of insurance. They also offer a mobile service that can be dispatched to home or community settings.

Alcoholism

Most alcohol rehab in Massachusetts consists of individual counseling and group therapy sessions, which address mental and emotional concerns that are contributing to alcohol use. Treatment helps participants make changes to maintain sobriety and prevent relapse.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Massachusetts is a hands-on method that engages participants in changing their thought and behavior patterns. Rather than a talk-listen approach, individuals are actively involved in working with their therapist to treat their addiction.

Men's Rehab

For men who want to stop drinking or using drugs, men’s rehab in Massachusetts offers help and hope. These treatment programs, designed specifically for men, help participants recover and rebuild their lives.

Opioid Treatment

When you enter opioid rehab in Massachusetts, you’ll receive treatment in a supportive environment that encourages recovery. After successful withdrawal management, you’ll participate in a variety of evidence-based therapies that prepare you for long-term sobriety.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT)

Addiction therapists apply rational emotive behavioral therapy in Massachusetts to focus on the interconnectedness of behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. The aim of therapy is for these three things to work together to improve your quality of life rather than lead to dysfunction.

Teen & Adolescent Program

Teen and young adult substance abuse can set individuals on a life-long path of destruction. A young adult program in Massachusetts can intervene in young adults’ lives to set them on a better path during this crucial stage of life.
