About Beaumont Transitional Treatment Center
The Beaumont Transitional Treatment Center is a treatment center for incarcerated individuals who are transitioning back into the community after the conclusion of their jail or prison sentence.
Operating under the GEO Group, this treatment center is the result of a community partnership with the Texas Department of Corrections. I’m impressed by their commitment to helping formerly incarcerated individuals, including those who have struggled with substance use or are likely to relapse, establish the skills for a strong start for this next chapter of their lives.
The Transitional Treatment Center is located in Beaumont, Texas, and sits on a 1.5 acre campus that includes sleeping quarters, recreational quarters, a dining hall, and the administrative office. Although it's not a glitzy or glamorous treatment center, it provides all the essentials you'll need to build a strong foundation for life in the community.
I like that in addition to offering substance abuse treatment, you'll also find educational and vocational services here too. You'll have the opportunity to build the skills you need for sustainable sobriety and independent living.
Going beyond just providing care through the treatment program, there are also case management services that can help connect you to additional resources offered through this organization and their partners. These resources might include getting connected to appropriate housing accommodations, faith based support, and any mental health services you might need as well.
