About Crossroads Health – Integrated Healthcare Center

Located in Mentor, Ohio, Crossroads Health provides dual diagnosis outpatient treatment to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Receiving government funding for their services, they accept military insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and other state funded health plans. No one will be turned away due to an inability to pay. Clients can receive medical services, a pharmacy, and a laboratory all in one place for convenient access.

Trauma Focused Therapy and EMDR

Crossroads Health’s trauma informed treatment is delivered through outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Services are designed for adults, adolescents and children meeting the needs of each specific age group.

I like that they also offer eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) as part of their continuum of care. In some cases, trauma may cause mental health disorders that can’t be resolved with counseling alone. Medication management is available to find the right medication and dosage to treat your mental health disorder and support your overall recovery from addiction.

Programs for a Variety of Patient Groups

Specialized programs are available for specific patient populations. Veterans, active duty military, and their families will find support here, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence and other trauma histories also have a dedicated place in Crossroad Health’s program. Former clients praise the program’s willingness to work with entire families to better address substance use issues.

Crossroads Health is a little over a half hour away from Cleveland. Some sober activities you might enjoy include visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and The Cleveland Museum of Art.
