About Baywell Health (Formerly West Oakland Health Center)

Once known as the West Oakland Health Council, Baywell Health offers behavioral health services in Oakland, California. Evidence-based care and treatment are provided through the West Oakland Health Center to treat the whole person in a culturally competent and collaborative environment. They offer outpatient treatment to adults with mild to moderate mental health symptoms. Care includes individual therapy and care coordination so you have access to supportive services and resources within the community.

The specialty mental health outpatient program addresses the needs of adolescents, children, and adults with severe symptoms that cause impairment. Care is offered in the home, at school, or in the community. They also provide medication assisted treatment when you're recovering from opioid dependence.
