About Bashor Childrens Home

Bashor Children's Home is a youth focused behavioral health and child welfare campus in Goshen, Indiana offering residential care and outpatient counseling for children, adolescents and families navigating substance use, trauma and co-occurring mental health concerns.

Services include the FAITH residential program and HOPE residential treatment, an emergency Children's Shelter and outpatient counseling.

I appreciate how Bashor's approach is trauma informed, family centered and rooted in evidence based therapies that support long term healing.

Youth Treatment Programs

Care typically begins with an assessment to determine the most appropriate level of support, ranging from residential treatment on the Goshen campus to community based outpatient counseling for youth ages 6 and up and their parents.

FAITH, offered in collaboration with Oaklawn Psychiatric Center, provides structured residential care for boys ages 8 to 18 and girls ages 13 to 18.

I want to note that clients can expect trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and motivational interviewing, relapse prevention and cognitive restructuring through Thinking for a Change.

On site schooling, medical services, family involvement and aftercare planning support a stable transition home or to the next step of care.
