School Based and In-Home Therapy in Statesville

One of the things that caught my eye is that Childrens Hope Alliance (CHA) doesn’t just offer in person services at the clinic. They have counseling that can meet kids where they spend time — school and home.

Their in home services include several hours of intervention each week to ensure the youth is stable and has a safe home. The program lasts four to six months and focuses on keeping the family together, creating a crisis response plan, providing trauma informed therapy and ensuring the family has access to essential needs.

The school based counseling allows professionals to talk to the child where they spend the most time and where they’re most likely to be triggered. Therapists are able to minimize school disruptions and assist students with trauma focused therapy.
