About Awakenings

Awakenings is a substance use disorder treatment facility in Whittier, California, affiliated with Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP), a nonprofit founded in 1972.

The program offers a continuum of care including residential treatment for women, outpatient services, intensive outpatient programs and dual diagnosis support for adults across Los Angeles County.

Men and Women's Residential and Outpatient Recovery

Awakenings provides residential substance use treatment for women and outpatient services for men and women navigating alcoholism, opioid use and other substance use disorders.

As part of SCADP's network, the program uses ASAM based assessments to match clients with the appropriate level of care.
