As part of Aurora Behavioral Health System in Tempe, Arizona, this Aurora East location provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and drug rehab services. Adults and teens can access inpatient mental health care, a partial hospitalization program, and an intensive outpatient program for substance abuse for holistic and individualized care. Outpatient electroconvulsive therapy is available here as a safe and effective treatment for depression and bipolar disorder.

This facility accepts admissions 24 hours a day seven days per week. The inpatient program lasts between five and seven days. By the end of inpatient treatment you’ll be able to set boundaries, express emotions appropriately, and develop effective communication skills. Treatment will include a combination of group and individual therapy and movement therapy. You’ll also engage in music, art, and recreational therapies.

The partial hospitalization program runs several days per week for up to six hours per day. This is a group treatment setting with lunch and snacks provided. Sessions will cover topics like self awareness and spirituality. You’ll also receive medication support if you need it.

The intensive outpatient program includes three days of treatment per week for three hours at a time. Various session times are available to accommodate your schedule. This program is around eight weeks. This is a nurturing group environment that will allow you to focus on your emotions and learn relapse prevention strategies.
