Associated Behavioral and Trauma Specialties (ABTS) provides outpatient mental health care and addiction treatment for youth and adults in El Paso, Texas, including dedicated services for children, adolescents, couples, families, persons experiencing complex trauma, and persons with co-occurring addiction and mental illness.
Clients receive medical and mental health assessments and personalized care planning. They also engage in intensive individual, group, and family counseling drawing on proven psychotherapeutic modalities. EMDR therapy is available for trauma survivors. The program promotes clients’ sustained recovery through robust, age specific life skills training, addressing topics such as coping, self care, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, resilience, anger and stress management, and relapse prevention. The induction, maintenance, and/or management of FDA approved pharmacotherapies is included as appropriate.
