About Aspire Indiana Health Progress House

The Aspire Progress House is a Joint Commission accredited recovery house located in Indianapolis, Indiana. They specialize in treating adult men who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. They house up to 150 men. Once men have completed the three phases at this house, graduates can transition to the next house.

Prior to being admitted they require medical clearance. Residents in the program must participate in their recovery, maintain sobriety, pay program fees, be respectful of others including staff, and maintain their living environment. You will work closely with licensed therapists, case managers and recovery professionals who will be available to assist you through your journey of healing. They provide primary medical care, assist in medication management and help with employment and vocational assistance. One on one counseling sessions as well as group sessions will be part of your weekly schedule. Following up with your case manager and setting goals for you to achieve throughout your time of stay can help you remain engaged and motivated to move forward.

To be able to stay you must be active in a 12 Step program. They offer outside 12 Step meetings here, making it accessible to attend. This can help you remain active in your spirituality and build a social network. Obtaining a sponsor and working the steps will also be expected, to help you create a strong foundation for your recovery.

Recreational fun will take place on the weekends. This includes bowling, movies, paintball, hiking, attending museums and social events. This will help you create a bond with your peers who share the same experiences and are on the same journey. This can help you develop new hobbies, create a healthier lifestyle and have a better understanding that you can still have fun and maintain your sobriety at the same time.
