Treatment approaches can incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and psychoeducation.

A psychiatrist is available on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for urgent concerns. Appointment frequency can increase to multiple visits per week, or even daily sessions during periods of crisis, depending on clinical need.

Who Can Get Help at Aspen Day Treatment Center?

The center serves adults 18 years and older, including young adults, seniors, veterans and members of the LGBTQ community. Both in person and HIPAA compliant telehealth appointments are available for residents throughout Maryland who require support but may not be able to travel to the office.

The center accepts Maryland Medical Assistance, Medicare, excluding Medicare Advantage and Medicare HMO plans, CareFirst, and most BlueCross BlueShield policies for outpatient services. Workers' Compensation is not accepted.
