About Arisa Health Recovery at Mills

Arisa Health Recovery at Mills is a residential substance use treatment center for adults over the age of 18 in Searcy, Arkansas. They focus on treating the mind, body and spirit with a whole person approach. Same day admissions are available so you can get in and get your new life started when you’re ready.

As part of the larger Arisa Health network spanning 41 counties across Arkansas, this treatment center provides integrated behavioral healthcare that is evidence based and individualized for each client. Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders are treated together through a coordinated approach that focuses on long term recovery and stability.

Accessible Care Through State and Federal Support

They are under federal and state contract, and accept Medicare, Medicaid and PASSEs. Private insurance and self payment options are accepted, with a discounted sliding fee scale based on income. I think it’s great that they don’t exclude anyone from treatment because of their inability to pay.

Residential Care and Step Down Services

Group and individual activities are part of the structured care that promotes stability and recovery. I noticed that clients typically stay 28 to 35 days in their 40 bed facility. When you’re ready to step down treatment intensity, their network offers outpatient services including partial day treatment, counseling and aftercare planning and support.

Finding Stability and Support

Most clients mention the supportive and understanding staff, especially during tough times. They say they found structure, compassion and a sense of community that helped them rebuild. One client said, “Fifteen months clean and loving life. I use what they taught me every day.”

Exploring Searcy’s Local Charm

Searcy is a college town, home to Harding University and ASU Searcy. I think that the Searcy Art Gallery and Pioneer Village are worth a visit, and Bald Knob Refuge is great for a relaxing afternoon of bird watching. For outdoor activities and connection to nature, Berryhill Park and Riverside Park offer picnic areas, trails and open spaces to unwind.
