Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center is part of Community Research Foundation, Inc. The recovery center is at 1963 Fourth Avenue in San Diego, California. This is an adult outpatient center. I like that the program is culturally responsive and community based. Staff helps you develop goals and work to achieve them.

You’ll have group and individual counseling, peer support, and a case manager to help you navigate the process. Another aspect of the program I think clients will appreciate is the employment and education services.

The treatment center is less than a half-hour walk to San Diego Bay and many local attractions including the oldest active sailing vessel, the Star of India. This is a beautiful place to work on your mental health.
