About ARC Manor Addiction Recovery Center

Since 1974, ARC Manor has been providing substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Kittanning, Pennsylvania. The facility is just a little less than an hour outside of Pittsburgh. The levels of care available to you include intensive outpatient services, residential services, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).

All the programs at the facility also provide specialized treatment for individuals who are struggling with co-occurring disorders. Along with these services, ARC Manor provides outreach services to the community and intervention services as well.

Clients who enter the residential program will receive individual and group therapy, life skills training, and medical and nutritional services. You’ll also receive information on recovery management and engage in 12 Step recovery meetings. The length of the program will be determined based on your treatment needs.

A unique program ARC Manor offers is the nurse navigator program. You’ll have scheduled appointments with a nurse to address your mental and physical health concerns that could be influencing your addiction. Clients enrolled in any of the other programs are eligible for this service.

The outpatient program features numerous specialized groups for clients with unique needs. The repeat offenders group helps individuals who have had repeat offenses related to substance use through education on alcohol and drug abuse. The women’s trauma group helps women to recognize their trauma and manage its effects, which can help with avoiding the use of substances. Additional outpatient services at this facility include adolescent services and gambling treatment.

ARC Manor also stands out for its outreach services, where they provide presentations to schools and free informational materials to businesses and churches. It highlights their desire to improve the health and wellness of the whole community of Armstrong County.

With Pittsburgh not so far away, you can make a drive over there and enjoy a nice view of the city from The Duquesne Incline. A bit closer to the center is the Allegheny River, where you can relax and clear and unwind.
