About Angel Hope House

The nonprofit Angel Hope House is a substance abuse treatment and halfway house program for women in Newark, New Jersey. This is a long term residential program. They also address dual diagnosis disorders. Their mission is to help you build a foundation of recovery skills.

This program provides a safe and stable environment where you can live during treatment and recovery. You'll participate in therapeutic groups that teach effective coping skills. Social events are also scheduled so you can have fun and practice coping skills in different settings at the same time. The length of the program varies from six months to one year.

The program can also help you work toward your job and education goals. I like this because it recognizes the importance of goal setting and adds more stability towards long term sobriety.
