About Amethyst
Alvis, Inc.’s Amethyst program is a women-only addiction treatment initiative, including pregnant women, women with children, those involved in the justice system, and individuals who are part of underserved communities. Medicaid is accepted, along with most major health plans. Sliding scale fees are provided, and some grant funded spots may also be available for qualifying individuals.
Trauma Informed Outpatient Treatment
Having been in operation for over 30 years now, this initiative offers you a clear pathway to recovery and a shining example of gender responsive, tailored care. Designed for women and their families, it seeks to provide participants with the strength and ongoing support needed to begin again, which I think is a vital goal.
The team understands that recovery is about more than curing addiction, but about rebuilding your life in a healthy way. So, outpatient programming here offers women tools to help strengthen their family unit.
Alvis also has specialized housing support options where you and your kids can live while you’re in the outpatient program. This is all provided within a safe, nurturing space, where women and their children can heal and grow together and hopefully find lasting stability and resilience.
Family Centered Drug Rehab Services For Women
Just some of the personalized services provided here include intensive outpatient programming (IOP) as well as standard outpatient care. Through these, you can tap into medical support and psychiatric services, along with mental health and trauma treatment.
Social support available here includes sessions helping you build and repair healthy relationships, secure economic stability, as well as fulfilling work through job readiness training and placement opportunities. I like that all of this combines to set you up for success post-recovery, and break the intergenerational cycle of addiction for your benefit, and the future of your loved ones.
