About Amador County Behavioral Health

Amador County Behavioral Health is a county operated program providing outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to residents of Amador County, California.

The program offers assessment, individual and group counseling, case management, prevention services, and 24 hour crisis intervention for adults and adolescents struggling with alcohol and drug use.

I have found that a community based access point delivers coordinated care that meets our community members where they are and connects them to the support they need.

Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Amador County Behavioral Health specializes in outpatient treatment for clients experiencing problems related to alcohol and other drugs. Services include comprehensive assessment, personalized treatment planning, and ongoing individual and group counseling designed to address substance use and support long term recovery.

Treatment sessions focus on relapse prevention, skill building, and addressing the underlying issues that contribute to substance use. Case management is available to help clients coordinate care and access community supports, and the program provides referrals to higher levels of care when clinically appropriate.

Integrated Care for Co-Occurring Conditions

The program offers integrated services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Clients can receive coordinated treatment that addresses both conditions simultaneously, with access to psychiatric medication services and therapy tailored to their assessed needs.
