The Wellness Center at Waters Place provides outpatient treatment in the Bronx, New York to adults navigating addiction. They provide services to individuals with opioid use disorder and those with an active substance use disorder or seeking relapse prevention. Their comprehensive outpatient services are thoughtfully designed to address the physical and emotional aspects of recovery. They are open six days per week and are part of the Montefiore Einstein network.

Comprehensive and Inclusive Addiction Treatment at Waters Place

They provide medication assisted treatment here to help reduce cravings in the form of methadone and Suboxone. It is not a stand alone service though, as you will be required to attend individual and group counseling.

What stood out to me is that they provide multilingual support. Their services are available in English, Spanish, Albanian and Greek.

I like that you will also be able to receive primary care services here. It makes it easier for you to address both your general health needs and your addiction treatment. Mental health services are also provided with psychotherapy and psychiatry so you can recover from your addiction in every way.

Project Rising for Teens

Project Rising is their adolescent and young adult program for those between the ages of 14 to 24 years old. You will be able to partake in interactive activities like yoga and creative art workshops. They even have a game room with a Sony Playstation.
