AEGIS Treatment Center is located in Oxnard, California. This is a drug rehab facility that works with men and women with drug, alcohol, or substance use disorders. You’ll be supported through care in an outpatient (OP) setting. You'll have access to a host of evidence based therapies along with medication assisted treatment (MAT). There are also telehealth intake and telecounseling sessions available.

When you start treatment here, you'll work with an intake team who’ll create an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs. There are gender specific programs and culturally specific groups as well. This allows you to navigate recovery in a familiar and uplifting environment.

The treatment team uses an evidence based curriculum that includes a range of proven recovery methods. Some of the supports you'll have access to include individual and group counseling. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is used alongside motivational interviewing (MI) to help you develop healthy skills. You'll learn how to identify triggers and how to manage stressful emotions. You’ll also create realistic recovery goals and have a plan of action that will help you meet those goals.

You'll also find care through relapse prevention. You'll gain insight into addiction education to help minimize your risk of relapse. There are also holistic therapies offered. They include mindfulness along with stress and relaxation techniques.

Case management is also available. You'll get connected to other resources in your community that can support you. This can include 12 Step programs like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.
