About Adolescent Substance Abuse Program Mesa
Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Mesa, in Mesa, Arizona, provides outpatient addiction treatment for adolescents aged 12 to 18. Their proprietary, evidence-based treatment model, known as the ASAP method, involves 10 weeks of intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment for teens and their families.
While in IOP, clients participate in three one-hour group sessions per week for 10 weeks. In addition to psychotherapy, these sessions offer extensive recovery-focused life skills training on a wide variety of topics, including trauma resolution, coping, self-care, anger and stress management, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention. Parents are also required to participate in at least one therapeutic session per week. The program also prioritizes academic and vocational training and independent living skills to support clients’ sustained sobriety and successful reintegration into their home, school, and community. ASAP’s aftercare services are designed to ensure a complete continuum of care and may include peer coaching, 12-step program facilitation, and referrals for medical, mental health, and social service programs.
Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Mesa accepts self-pay and private insurance.
