About ADAPT – Deer Creek – Adolescent Treatment Center

Adapt Integrated Health Care has spent over 50 years helping teens find recovery from substance abuse. This experience is present in their Deer Creek Adolescent Treatment Center in Roseburg, Oregon. This center also provides co-occurring disorder treatment.

Upon acceptance into the program, a client’s family is given an introduction to addiction and recovery. Families play a vital role in the work done here and their involvement benefits both clients and their loved ones.

Family members will work on building their own support skills to aid in the adolescent’s recovery during and after treatment. No one is turned away from this center due to an inability to pay. They provide a sliding fee scale to help cover costs for those who qualify.

Help for the Justice Involved

Some of Adapt’s juvenile treatment centers work with teens involved in the legal system. When someone’s addiction leads to legal consequences, the required punishments placed on them can make recovery even more difficult. Counselors help these teens find recovery and meet all the required requirements, as well as reintegrate with their families and communities.

Something I admire is that these services aren’t limited to those released from detention. Those still serving their time can get counseling from one of these centers during their stay. Direct help like this immediately addresses addiction treatment at a time when it is often not available and begins the early work of recovery.

Comprehensive Case Management

This service ensures your loved one has everything they need during recovery and helps them manage their responsibilities at the same time. A case manager typically acts as a connection between the client and supportive resources, but they can also help manage appointments, make travel arrangements and access social services. Case managers work hard to reduce the stress and hurdles encountered in recovery.

Outdoor Recovery

I think Roseburg’s natural attractions can aid in your journey to an addiction free life. Spending time outdoors at places like the South Umpqua River can bring peace and relaxation when things get tough. It’s a simple and free tool you can add to your sobriety maintenance toolbelt.
