About Action with Aloha United Way Building

Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, Action with Aloha United Way is a social service organization that provides mental health and addiction treatment services, among other supports, like housing and other resources. Addiction programs include outpatient drug rehab, dual diagnosis treatment, aftercare support, and referrals.

Treatment programs include a comprehensive mental health assessment to determine mental health status, severity of addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Individuals may be able to access dual diagnosis services to treat both disorders at the same time. The outpatient program requires participants to attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support meetings. Sessions are held three to four days a week. The inpatient program runs for a minimum of 30 days.

Action with Aloha United Way is accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Financial aid and financing may be available. Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance, commercial health plans, and private pay are accepted.

Opioid Treatment

Opioid rehab in Hawaii helps people recover from opioid use disorders and improve their lives. Treatment teaches participants new skills to end opioid dependence and prevent relapse. Methods include detox, inpatient, and outpatient treatment.

Women's Rehab

Teen & Adolescent Program

A young adult program in Hawaii is important for addressing the needs of this stage of life. Young adults face different challenges and have different motivations for using substances than older adults, and a young adult rehab program addresses these unique needs.
