About 7th Street Treatment

7th Street Treatment is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. They offer compassionate and comprehensive care to men and women seeking treatment for their addiction disorders. There’s a continuum of care offered here. You'll be supported through residential or the outpatient treatment program. There are other programs including intensive outpatient care, sober living support and a day treatment program. These programs are structured but have room for you to explore your personal interests and hobbies as you move through recovery.

They accept self pay and policies from Targeted Adult Medicaid. They also accept different forms of Medicaid. Also, they accept select policies from leading Insurance providers. Speak with your insurance company as out of network benefits may apply.

One of the standout features of this recovery facility is their whole person approach to care. As an educator, I understand the importance of having a support system to fuel your recovery or treatment needs. Here, you'll find that level of support through their collaborative and positive environments. You'll work with your peers on a regular basis to develop critical healthy habits for success.

You'll also have the opportunity to focus on your own personal interests and find internal motivation to guide your recovery. For example, some of the therapies you'll find here include experiential and recreational therapy. You'll be encouraged to reflect on your emotions through creative writing. You'll also regain your sense of Independence through life skills training.

While these holistic care approaches are important, so are evidence based practices. You'll find therapies rooted in evidence such as addiction counseling and medication assisted treatment. If you're moving through an alcohol or opioid use disorder, FDA approved medications can help your body safely wean off of its dependency. Once your body is stabilized you can begin benefiting from counseling services and other therapies

You'll also have access to cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy here. These evidence-based practices help you reflect on triggers and behaviors that contribute to your addiction use. You'll learn how to manage these triggers and how to identify destructive behaviors or feelings when they creep up. Your care team will equip you with the tools and strategies you need to manage these struggles during recovery.

Other therapies you'll benefit from here include educational classes and relapse prevention services. These services are critical in helping you map out realistic recovery goals. You'll work alongside your care team to create a plan to meet those goals.
