Volunteers of America (VOA) Utah’s Men’s Detoxification Center supports adult men in Salt Lake City and greater Salt Lake County who are struggling with substance use disorder. They’re located on Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, Utah, a short walk from the Jordan River Parkway Trail and Redwood Recreation Center Park. It’s also just over three miles southwest of the Fisher Mansion and Carriage House.
This location also houses VOA’s Cornerstone Counseling Center, an outpatient center delivering tailored substance use recovery and mental health treatment for those seeking flexible therapeutic support. It often serves as a step-down recovery option for detox patients once they are stabilized and in good health. The location also functions as VOA’s administrative office in Utah, meaning you can seamlessly connect to their broader services from here.
Safe and Nurturing Detox Environment
The Men’s Detoxification Center offers a structured, trauma-focused environment where you can detox under the care and supervision of trained professionals. Eligible detox patients can stay for up to 14 days free of charge following assessment. They enjoy three well-prepared meals daily to rebuild physical strength, boost energy and support overall wellness. You may also have time for recreational and fitness exercises that improve your wellbeing.
Affordable Treatment

Integrated Care for Long-Term Success
