About Yucca Valley Center For Change

Yucca Valley Center for Change served the Yucca Valley, California recovery community for over 40 years. Now closed, the center provided outpatient addiction treatment and DUI education services for adults and adolescents living in San Bernardino County.

Being bordered by the San Bernardino Mountains and Joshua Tree National Park gave the center’s clients a quiet high desert landscape to focus on recovery. They accepted MedCal and offered a sliding scale fee.

I also appreciate that they designed the recovery center to help clients learn how to live a sober life. They offered sober activities and the opportunity to build relationships with others who were living in similar situations. Through the recovery center, clients also had access to vocational assistance and referrals to other community services throughout San Bernardino County.
