About Youth Academy LLC
Yore Academy, located in Fairmont, West Virginia, is dedicated to empowering youths on their journey to recovery. Yore Academy provides a transformative environment for youth who face co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges. We love the work this academy does in equipping children and young adults with the skills and resilience needed to break free from addiction. They’ve been around since 2002.
Transforming Young Lives in Fairmont
Yore Academy provides specialized services for up to 24 children, both male and female, aged 12 to 17, and transitioning adults up to 21, who struggle with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health issues. They have room for up to 24 clients at a time.
One thing we noticed that strikes us as unique is all of the evidence based methods that Yore Academy uses to focus on helping children understand the factors that lead to addiction. It’s based on experiences and the senses, rather than just talking through issues in group sessions, although there’s that, too.
This holistic approach is exactly what is needed to help you or your child build a solid foundation for the future. Ultimately, Yore Academy’s goal for you is a path of sustained recovery.
