About Women’s Center
The Women's Center is a nonprofit counseling center in Vienna, Virginia, offering outpatient mental health and addiction recovery services for women, men, teens and families. This center provides individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy and specialized group programs designed to support clients working through substance use, trauma, grief and co-occurring mental health challenges. With a focus on women's wellness and family systems, The Women's Center uses evidence-based approaches to help clients build resilience and long-term recovery.
Counseling and Recovery Programs at The Women's Center
Services begin with an intake assessment to match each client with the right level of support, whether that's individual psychotherapy, couples or family counseling or one of the center's many psychoeducational groups. The Women's Center also offers teletherapy for clients who prefer to meet remotely, which I know help expand access across Northern Virginia.
Clients can participate in specialized groups including an Addiction Recovery Group, a Relapse Prevention Group and an Alcohol and Drug Support Group for family members and friends. The center, I've found, also offers groups focused on trauma healing, domestic violence, anger management, grief, DBT skills and mindfulness-based stress reduction, alongside tailored services for teens, parents, couples and older adults.
