You’ll go through various phases during your treatment at Wilmington Treatment Center. These are mainly delivered through group sessions. In these group sessions, you’ll learn how to overcome addiction and prevent relapse. Their program works well with 12 steps as well as other approaches. I like that their program incorporates recreational therapy. You'll have a leisure assessment when you first arrive. Multiple recreation times a week will be part of your schedule during your treatment.
A typical day begins with breakfast and a community meeting. You'll have a morning lecture on recovery topics and then move into groups. After lunch, you'll attend more groups and have recreation and free time. After dinner you will attend AA/NA meetings before lights out.
