About Willow Springs Recovery
Willow Springs recovery is a tranquil, luxurious drug rehab center just outside Austin in Bastrop, Texas. They offer customized treatments in a relaxing environment with experienced staff. They accept most health plans, many of which cover the full cost of treatment. Here, you can go through detox, medication assisted treatment, and residential and outpatient treatment. If you have a dual diagnosis like bipolar disorder, PTSD or depression, Willow Springs can help you work towards lifelong recovery.
You'll immediately be immersed in a quiet, peaceful environment for recovery. They have over 38 acres of country landscape that encourages sober living. You can also go on nature walks and take in the fresh air and quiet moments. Residents get to make the most out of the beautiful, green landscape, pool, fitness center, lovely grounds and much more. Each client can choose the path that suits them best.
When you sign up, your journey starts with a customized assessment and a tailored treatment plan for your goals.Their inpatient program keeps you removed from the people and places that may cause temptations. You’ll have activities, meals, and treatment revolving around overcoming addiction.
You'll also likely undergo detox, which can last from 7 to 10 days. They'll provide you with supervision, nutrition, and start you on various counseling programs to wean you off drugs.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available for those needing detox. These FDA-approved meds can lessen withdrawal symptoms and reduce drug cravings, keeping you more comfortable. You’ll have 24-hour clinical care to ensure safety.
There's a wide range of options for counseling. There are traditional individual and group sessions, along with those that use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and
rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). These programs fall under the SMART program that focuses on finding ways to motivate you to stay sober.
In their day program, you’ll spend 6-hour days in treatment five days a week. I like that in both of these treatment options, you also live in housing either on the grounds or nearby. In some cases, people can live at home, but they prefer for you to be in their housing just in case. This option lets you have a bit more freedom and mobility while keeping you safely tethered to your sober support network.
There's also a non 12 Step program. This track focuses on dual diagnoses to tackle your underlying mental conditions that can fuel addictions. It's an individualized program, rather than following a group or a leader, as with traditional options.
