About Willow Springs Center

Willow Springs Center is a residential and outpatient treatment center for teens and adolescents in Reno, Nevada. At Willow Springs they treat mental health disorders, substance abuse and behavioral issues. They focus on building distress tolerance and reducing impulsive and self-destructive behaviors. For teens aged 12 through 17, outpatient treatment through the intensive outpatient program (IOP) or the partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are other options.

The residential psychiatric program provides a full time dormitory-style environment. Treatment includes individual and group therapy, psychoeducational groups and recreation therapy. Kids will engage in dialectical behavior therapy and life skills training. I really like that this facility has amenities like a large gym, an outdoor playground, an amphitheater and a spacious courtyard. They also have a Challenge By Choice ropes course.

The adolescent partial hospitalization program is a full day program from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The intensive outpatient program includes sessions Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. These programs include groups, school and lunch. Therapy is nonjudgmental and non confrontational.

Willow Springs Center is also one of the primary providers of military mental health services in Nevada. If your child has a parent who is deployed, there are special support services for them at Willow Springs. This military program includes group and individual therapy, medication management and crisis management.

A former client of Willow Springs says that this is the best place they could have sent their child. Another family said that Willow Springs saved their family from a crisis.

Amenities

Residential Setting

Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.

Gym

When paired with cognitive-behavioral therapy, exercise can be an effective tool for overcoming addiction. Drug rehabs with a gym offer clients healthy ways to increase energy levels, balance the body’s stress hormone levels, and aid in the brain’s healing process.

Addiction Treatment Programs

Alcoholism

Most programs that offer alcohol rehab in Nevada focus on three aspects of treatment. Participants receive professional therapy, learn new life skills, and develop a network of support that includes a rich community life. This combination provides a solid foundation for recovery and for relapse prevention.

Drug Rehab

When you enter drug rehab in Nevada, you receive professional assistance to remove drugs from your body and cease your body’s need for the substance. You learn coping strategies and receive support to prevent relapse and enjoy long-term sobriety.

Teen & Adolescent Program

A young adult program in Nevada helps participants overcome the challenges of this stage of life and re-enter life stronger, sober, and ready to make healthy choices. This treatment is ideal for teens, college students, and young adults starting careers and families.

Levels of Care

Detox & MAT

The process of slowly and safely removing substances from your system is called detox. This is typically the first step of drug rehab in Nevada. It involves 24/7 supervision and may include medication to help with withdrawal.

Inpatient Rehab

For around the clock care from a drug rehab in Nevada, choose an inpatient rehab program. At this level of treatment, you’ll live at the rehab facility and receive various forms of therapy, medication management, relapse prevention education, and nutritional counseling.

Outpatient Rehab

For many, Nevada outpatient rehab is the next step after successfully completing an inpatient program. This less-restrictive treatment involves living at home and returning to life responsibilities while attending several treatment sessions each week. This continues for weeks or months, until you are ready to move to the next level of care.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) in Nevada provide onsite treatment during the day, but don’t require you to live at the facility. PHPs are a good solution for those who have work or family obligations that would normally prevent them from committing to an inpatient addiction treatment program.
