About Willard Drug Treatment Campus
Willard Drug Treatment Campus is a secure facility for males and females over 18 years old. They’re located in Willard, New York, adjacent to Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes Region. The program focuses on providing high intensity treatment for convicts affected by substance use disorders. It typically serves people with prior felony convictions. This includes individuals facing second time felony charges for certain Class C, D and E drug felonies. Those facing second time felony charges with specific Class D and W non drug felonies are eligible as well.
The facility provides structured and secure treatment while supporting eligible individuals toward recovery and reintegration. This is achieved through a mix of intensive substance abuse counseling, physical activities and strict daily routines.
The program helps reduce recidivism by allowing individuals with drug related convictions to receive treatment and rehabilitation in a secure environment rather than being incarcerated in a standard prison facility. This is part of New York’s broader efforts to reform drug sentencing laws, especially for nonviolent offenses. The program is managed by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision in collaboration with the Division of Parole. It is licensed by the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), which may indicate a commitment to quality treatment.
