About Wiley Christian Adult Day Care

Serving the community of Pennsauken, New Jersey, Wiley Christian Adult Day Services is a church affiliated behavioral health program. In addition to being a church ministry Wiley also offers a retirement community, behavioral health management, preschool and summer camp. Wiley’s Christian partial care program provides supportive services to adults who want to avoid psychiatric hospitalization. This program treats addiction and mental illness.

The day program is designed to help you learn the appropriate skills to function independently in the community. Services are available five days per week from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. You must be willing to participate in the program, be medically stable and meet the criteria for a mental health diagnosis. While receiving medical care and a comprehensive evaluation you’ll also get a personalized recovery plan and addiction counseling. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in psychoeducational groups, prevocational groups and social and recreational activities. Medication management and monitoring are provided by an onsite psychiatrist. Wiley Christian encourages its participants to encounter Jesus through inspiring worship and relevant teachings.

One thing I really like about Wiley Christian is that the day program provides breakfast and lunch and can arrange transportation for you if you need it. You must be enrolled in general assistance Medicaid or have an application submitted to be eligible for this program.

People who’ve been treated at Wiley Christian’s day program say it changed their lives. They also said the staff is wonderful and caring. Another former client said Wiley’s grief and loss group supported him after his dad died.
