About WestCare GulfCoast Zephyrhills

ACT Center offered outpatient support for people 18 and older who are working to overcome substance use. Treatment at this Brevard County facility was based on the type of substance and how serious the addiction is with options that let folks keep up with daily life. They took private insurance and had out of pocket payment options. They were based in Titusville, Florida. However, the center is currently closed.

Flexible Scheduling and Support

The center offered group sessions during the day, evening and weekends to fit different schedules. They provided extra support for people dealing with opioid addiction and also helped those with both substance use and mental health challenges.

Small Groups and Private Rooms Available

This program offered a calm and welcoming space where you could focus on getting better. With more staff and fewer clients, you had more time to talk things through in a more intimate setting. Private rooms were also an option to help you feel more at ease while settling into treatment.

Tailored Services for Specific Groups

This program supported people from all kinds of backgrounds. Some were referred by the court system, while others came on their own. There were services for older adults, along with groups tailored for men, women, and young adults between 18 and 21 who needed specialized care.

Building Skills for Lasting Sobriety

The center used different therapies personalized to the client. Family counseling helped improve communication and relationships, while their life skills services taught healthy ways to cope that support long term sobriety. I know that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) guides you through difficult thoughts and memories while building new coping skills and rational behavior therapy helps you recognize and change irrational beliefs.

Healing in the Great Outdoors

Even though they’re closed, there are plenty of nearby outdoor spaces that can complement your recovery program. I noticed that Canaveral Marshes Trails is a large conservation space with trails great for reflection and healing, and Chain of Lakes Regional Park has three miles of paved trails and a cool bird-watching tower. The Enchanted Forest Sanctuary also has hiking paths with boardwalks over wetlands to help you connect with nature. Fox Lake Sanctuary Trail features over seven miles of trails starting from Fox Lake Park and is good for both body and mind.

Amenities

Private Rehab

Private drug rehab provides a comfortable, secure environment that allows you to focus on doing the work to get your life back on track. Benefits include a higher staff-to-client ratio, increased one-on-one time with therapists and healthcare providers, private rooms for clients, and customized forms of therapy.

Private Rooms

In order to maintain a sense of autonomy, many private rehab facilities offer clients the ability to choose their own private rooms. The privacy and personal space ensure that the recovery process is as comfortable as possible.

Residential Setting

Residential drug rehab provides the comforts of home with the therapeutic support needed to successfully recover. Benefits of an inpatient program include increased safety, a higher success rate, and the time and distance given to focus on recovery. Residential drug rehabs are often the preferred method of treatment, as they can be tailored to meet specific needs, offer focused therapeutic care, and provide the necessary tools to sustain recovery.

Addiction Treatment Programs

Teen & Adolescent Program

Young adults often develop addiction for different reasons than older individuals. That’s why a young adult program in Florida focuses on the unique pressures, needs, and challenges faced by young adults.

Adult Program

Treatment at an adult program in Florida addresses the needs of each individual as they work toward recovery. Programs are designed for men and women ages 18 and up, and include a variety of treatment protocols to match the severity of the addiction, type of substance, and personal situation.

Men's Rehab

Gender-specific addiction treatment gives men who are struggling with substance use disorders a connection point to other men with similar struggles. This common ground can make a huge impact on men’s rehab in Florida.

Women's Rehab

Often, women who have a substance use disorder also have a co-occurring disorder. Women’s rehab in Florida often addresses both the addiction and mental health disorder with dual diagnosis treatment.

Drug Rehab

Florida residents who are struggling with substance abuse don’t have to face their challenges alone. Drug rehab in Florida provides quality treatment to help individuals overcome addiction and make a full recovery.

Senior Drug & Alcohol Rehab

If you're over the age of 65, elderly rehab in Florida gives you the opportunity to be in a treatment program with your peers. This tends to be helpful for older adults because they can receive mutual support and acceptance from their peers. These programs are specifically designed for seniors.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Florida helps people in treatment to revisit painful thoughts and memories and learn new ways to cope with them. These newly-learned techniques replace substance use and help the individual maintain sobriety.

Opioid Treatment

Opioid rehab in Florida provides the care you need to help you safely and comfortably navigate a path to recovery. Treatment addresses both emotional and physical aspects of addiction, offering individualized tracks and custom programs.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient rehab in Florida focuses on relapse prevention and long-term recovery. It typically includes several counseling sessions per week as well as membership in a support group such as NA or AA. This treatment can last several weeks or several months, based on your ongoing needs.

Detox & MAT

While each drug rehab in Florida is unique, most programs begin with detox. This process can last up to seven days. During that time, addictive substances are slowly removed from your system. Medication is often used to alleviate withdrawal symptoms.

Dual Diagnosis & Mental Health

If you are struggling with both an addiction and a mental health disorder, treatment for dual diagnosis in Florida is necessary for successful recovery. This multidisciplinary approach treats both substance abuse and co-occurring disorders such as bipolar disorder, eating disorders, depression, or anxiety.
