Evidence based therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Residents may participate in holistic therapies, like yoga, art therapy, journaling, recreation therapy, nutritional coaching, and guided imagery. Each resident will also attend educational groups focused on enhancing coping strategies, stress management techniques, relapse prevention tools, communication skills, and family therapy.
