About Wayside Youth & Family Support Network
In the heart of Farmington, Massachusetts, just minutes outside of Interstate 90, is the community support organization, Wayside Youth and Family Support Network. This is a community facility that provides empathetic, comprehensive, and evidence-based therapies and services to children, adolescents, young adults and their families. They do not discriminate and serve people from all backgrounds including members of the LGBTQ+ community.
If you or a loved one is struggling with a behavioral health challenge or has a co-occuring substance use disorder, this community support network can help. Some of the programs offered here are state-funded, helping to alleviate the burden of cost for services you might require.
The care team here takes a compassionate approach to the treatment they offer. At the heart of this organization is a goal to strengthen families and individuals so that they can lead a life of health, wellness, and sobriety.
Their Wayside In Home Service Model Is one of their approaches to care I value the most. Through this model, services like counseling, advocacy, and substance use intervention will be provided to you in the comfort of your home.
This helps alleviate the need to travel anywhere and can be incredibly helpful if you have small children, have a disability, or simply are unable to travel for the support services you need.
There are different services that fall under the in-home service model such as intensive family support or behavioral therapeutic care. In their commitment to serve all individuals in the community, this program also provides translation services in over six languages including American Sign Language, Mandarin, and Swahili.
