About Victory Clinical Services Jackson
The Victory Clinic is located in a quiet corner of Jackson, Michigan, and has provided quality care for the last 30 years. They are a CARF-accredited clinic and they assist individuals who are struggling with opioid use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
Since they were established, they have expanded throughout Michigan and Indiana. Their approach is to utilize a harm reduction model combined with psychosocial interventions and evidenced-based therapies. Their mission is to help men, women, and pregnant women with ongoing support and guidance to live a fulfilling life of recovery.
They offer a variety of different services here to provide you with integrative care. It can be overwhelming trying to gain structure at the beginning of your recovery process especially if you don’t have support. They provide case management services, acudetox, relapse prevention, aftercare, life skills education, referral services, and addiction education. They’re also close to the Grand River and Marino’s Park isn’t too far away if you’d like to unwind and exercise.
What stands out to me the most is their medication assisted treatment program (MAT). When you’re struggling with withdrawals, nausea, cravings, and discomfort, it can create stress to focus on your recovery and daily responsibilities. Their MAT program combines counseling and medication that can alleviate the symptoms of chemical dependency. Motivational interviewing (MI) will be used during counseling with methadone, Suboxone, or Vivitrol.
An amazing feature that caught my eye was their medically supervised withdrawal services. These were designed to provide short term stabilization and safe withdrawals from methadone or Suboxone. This gives you the choice to decide how you want to continue your recovery moving forward with prescribed medication and this can be discussed with their medical staff.
Another great amenity available here is their referrals as well as screenings for HIV and Hep C. It is often that due to life in active addiction, it could have impacted your well-being or could cause uncertainty. They can conduct testing, provide local resources, and education on prevention with referral services to get you the direct care you need.
