About UNM Addictions & Substance

Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, University of New Mexico Hospital is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Programs include medical detox, inpatient drug rehab, partial hospitalization, outpatient, intensive outpatient programs, dual diagnosis treatment, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and aftercare.

University of New Mexico Hospital provides a full continuum of care tailored to the individual’s needs. The clinical team uses evidence based treatments to effectively treat addiction and co-occurring disorders, including individual counseling, group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family education and support, recovery support groups, and relapse prevention training.
